Castle Ambras - The Armory

The armour collection in Castle Ambras is breath taking. A highly recommented location to visit if you ever go to Innsbruck. The lord collected these during his time in 15th century.  He had a good taste in arts :)

Castle Ambras - Vlad the Impaler

Castle Ambras has the picture Vlad the Impaler, the lord Dracula. This is the only survivingpicture od Vlad III Tepes. Ferdinant II was a collector of curies items in his day. It is wonderful these have survived to our times.
