Pirate Ship - Planking

Next step was to glue first planks the to hull. I selected the thinnest sticks as base planks, last time I used the 1-2mm thick ones which where pain in to ass glue in curved shape. Thinner plank curves easier and clues faster, besides you dont need any nails. Learned my leasson from the first boat.

Luckily construction kit had extra thin sticks so gluing was relatively easy, except with PVA you had to wait like 10 minutes per every plank. I watched like 3 movies while glueing and holding the boat in my arms :)

It took two evenings to glue the base planks. Last step was to sand them before the mahogany planks were added.
