Battle of Narva

Great Northern War game to rescue Narva which was under Russian siege. Swedes got a great start. Cavalry charge destroued most of Russians cannons. But they were not done yet, when Swedish infantry reached the battle line they allmost were decimated.

Pori infantry unit especially suffered bad moment when thay were totally killed in their first charge. Most of the cavalry had also been Swedish wiped, only remnants left. The lifeguard charged in the middle, they destroyed two Russian units but then Cossacs counter charged and one swedish guard was destroyed.

On the left side Nylands unit pushed on and was able to kill two russian unit. At the same time Narva citadel got lucky cannon shot which killed the ledft of Cossacs. Nylands had reached the Narva citadel. Swedes won the game with quote heavy casualties.

Card based games can be a bit funny. After successfull cavalry charge swedes had used all their cavalry cards, so they where just sitting there to be shot. Well that was kind of the plan, they tie the Russians while infantry advances. Entertaining game, espacially when it started to look bad for Sweden but in the end they managed to win. Thanks!
